Twitch is introducing a social stream for its users. With an aim to help its users stay within its purple walls. Twitch is calling this new feature Pulse and it is designed to collect big gaming-obsessed feed the real-time social happenings of all the people you follow.
Pulse is designed to be more than just another, social network text updates. The social platform also supports links from Vimeo, YouTube, Twitch, Imgur and Gfycat, it will be made available on Twitch mobile app as well.
Pulse does seem a lot like Twitter for Twitch, where users can update text snippets and multimedia posts. This would boost engagement and the posts will appear to a user’s followers as well as their friends on the very front page.
“For streamers, the posts you create on your Channel Feed will also appear on Pulse on the front page to all of your friends & followers. This will allow you to not only interact with followers and viewers you regularly engage with, but also with those who might not visit your channel page as frequently. Channel Feed will be auto-enabled for all streamers in mid-March”, noted pulse in a blog post introducing, Pulse.
