Xiaomi has launched a new mobile browser for the Android as its latest software offering. The browser is available not just for the Xiaomi smartphones, but for all the Android smartphones from other brands as well. To take upon the large number of browsers makers such as UCWeb, Opera, Google Chrome and Mozilla, Xioami has launched a browser with the name as Mint Browser but uploading it on the Google Play. The new Web browser app weighs 12MB, and the company has revealed it offers a safe and ad-free experience.
Xiaomi Mint Browser features
Just like similar to the browsers such as the Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, Xiaomi Mint Browser provides a multi-tabbing Web Browsing experience apart from just providing with an Incognito Mode. There is also an inbuilt Dark Mode feature that inverts the colors of your web pages to provide you with a more comfortable web browsing under the low light condition. The Mint Browser also lets you switch from one user agent to another and pick the Desktop or iPhone version of your favorite website.
Xiaomi’s Mint Browser welcomes you with a homepage that shows a list of some of the pre-selected websites. You can also add your favorite website by just clicking the Add button. Moreover, you can even delete any of the pre-selected websites by holding and pressing their shortcuts keys. The browser also has a search bar options which is available on the top of the homepage that lets the user pass their queries to the search engine.you can also choose between the different options such as the Yahoo, Google, and Bing.
The Mint Browser also provides with voice searches. There is a dedicated microphone icon which is placed on the homepage that enabled the voice search with the help of google voice search.
Initially, Xiaomi also promises the Mint Browser as an “AdFree” Web Browsing app for the Android users. The company moreover, infamous for pushing the ads to its MIUI based smartphones and PatchWall running on the Mi Televisions.
