Vivo V9 With 6GB RAM and 64GB of Inbuilt Storage Launched

Vivo V9 has been launched in the market with a Ram of 6GB. When Vivo unveiled the V9 in India it came in 4GB of variant. Moreover, the 6GB RAM variant also brings a few other changes in terms of specifications. The key ones being the processor and the camera setup.

The Vivo V9 6GB has been priced at IDR 4,299,000 which is roughly Rs. 20,600 in Indian currency. The smartphone will come in two color variant of – Black, and Red.

Operating System and Display

The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo V9 6GB runs Funtouch OS 4.0 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, and sports a 6.3-inch full-High Definition+ (1080×2280 pixels) IPS ‘FullView Display 2.0' with a 19:9 aspect ratio.

It delivers a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. As mentioned, the Vivo V9 6GB is powered and supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor which is coupled with 6GB of RAM.

In terms of optics, the Vivo V9 6GB comes with a different dual rear camera setup, with the primary 13-megapixel sensor and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor coupled with f/2.2 aperture. It offers an ‘Ultra HDR' mode. On the front, it features a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

Storage

Now coming to the storage department, the new variant of Vivo V9 6GB comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage, which can even be extended further via a dedicated microSD card slot of up to 256GB.

Connectivity options

Some of the connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor. It has dimensions of 154.81×75.03×7.89mm, and weighs 150 grams.

Battery

The smartphone runs on a 3260mAh battery which is non removable one.
