Heliguy Tie-Up With ParaZero to Sell Safety Parachutes For DJI Drones

by StartupWorld Staff

With the effect of modernization, Drone (UAV - Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) industry has seen tremendous growth in recent times. To your surprise, the United States of America holds the largest drone market share of billion dollars in the world.

Coming back to the story, one of the leading DJI retailers in the UK, Heliguy confirms selling ParaZero SafeAir parachutes to enhance safety standards and minimize system failure.

Further, the authorities announced these parachutes integrate with M200 series, Matrice 210 V2, M600 pro, Matrice 210 RTK, Mavic pro series, DJI Phantom 4, Mavic 2 series, and isn’t compatible with the Matrice 210 RTK V2 model.

The underlying concept is the SafeAir system monitors the drone flight movements, and the parachute deploys automatically in case of failure in catastrophic flight. As a result, it safeguards drone from and reduces the payload.

Even at low altitudes, the system works fine, and built-in flight termination tool stops rotors to prevent damaging parachute. Thus it reduces the risk of injuries for the common people.

ParaZero SafeAir system comes with a black box to collect and store flight data for post parachute deployment analysis. Before making the drone available to customers, ParaZero’s AirSafe system tested by simulating with DJI M210 prototype. They found it to be reusable and designed to repack effortlessly.

Ben Shirley, part of the expert training team, says “Demonstration was successful, and the chute deployed once the motor initiated at 55meter height. The chute then fully deploys within 10meters, and the aircraft landed 40m from the drop point”.

Further, he adds saying the parachute performance is impressive and found small damage to the landing gear and lightbridge antenna when they strike the surface. Also, there is a slight reduction in flight time due to the increased mass. Top of that, the cost seems to be expensive for limited-budget people. For them, we are providing DJI Coupons where you can receive 50% off on the total price. With the same amount, you can get a pair of parachutes or save money for future purposes.

On the whole, drones have a wide range of uses in aeronautics, photography, sports, military, and more. It is easy to use and integrate with peripherals for optimum performance.
