February 5th, 2020

Banglore’s cloud computing consulting startup, Rapyder Cloud Solutions, which is specialized cloud migration, has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This Advanced Consulting Partner will leverage Rapyder’s customers with digital transformation by providing secure, seamless, and scalable services in cloud computing space.

AWS is an Amazon subsidiary, which offers on-demand cloud computing platforms on a fixed pay basis. It builds sophisticated applications to access computing power, content delivery, and other functionalities for various database storage.

The first time, AWS offered its cloud services to Amit Gupta, when it recognized the potential of his earlier startup named Intelligentia IT Systems Pvt Ltd, which worked on IT services, application development platform and specialized in building big data analytics company Spocto’s product on the cloud.

Earlier, Amit used to work on various domains, but after the offering of AWS cloud services, Amit decided to focus entirely on cloud services and started Rapyder in 2016 with his friend Athreya Ramadas, AWS-Certified DevOps professional. Through this platform, they started offering cloud migration to customers, DevOps, and ongoing managed services, including disaster recovery and cloud security.

Rapyder’s services are offered at different charges depending on the services as per client needs. A user has to pay INR 25,000 per day as a service charge. However, for consulting and migrations, the charges vary based on the service. Rapyder has clients from various sectors such as BFSI, ITeS, tourism, travel, retail, hospitality, ecommerce, and education, whereas its prominent clients include Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, Royal Orchid Hotels, QuickRide, NeoGrowth, Easy Policy, and Extra Marks. Amit claims that they have been acquiring 300% new clients year-on-year.

The co-founder of Rapyder, Amit Gupta, said that in the coming days, we might step further to work with other cloud providers as well, but that will be the strategic decision that Rapyder will take at the leadership level in future. As of now, AWS is our primary focus, and we are committed to building our organization with AWS technology.

Amit adds cloud space offers a great opportunity, and we see 100% project growth in 2020 alone. Presently, it has 55 employees and it is planning to double the headcount by the end of 2020.
