Xaiomi might have previously initiated working on its third – generation Mi MIX edge-to-edge display smartphone. If a new picture emerged online is to be trusted then the next Mi MIX smartphone will sport an iPhone X- like indentation. Chinese Twitter corresponding Weibo has some images ostensibly demanding to show the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s which can be assumed to be a modification of some sort to the present Mi MIX 2 smartphone. The allocated images show the claimed handset in the wild and tip a notch at the top of the handset – just like the iniquitous notch on the iPhone X.

According to reports, “The leaked images further tip that the next Mi MIX smartphone will retain the highlight of the series which is a bezel-less smartphone. Much like the iPhone X, the notch at the top, however, looks weird.”
The disclosed images insinuate that the claimed Mi MIX 2s will involve the sensors, earpiece, and front camera in the notch at the peak. Unfortunately, there is no information on the expected Mi MIX 2s handset at the moment. The leaked photos were posted on Weibo and were primarily selected by GSM Arena.

With Apple diving into the bezel-less bandwagon with its iPhone X, and other corporations like Samsung with its Galaxy S8 as well as various devices like Essential Phone, we can assume the edge to edge displays play a chief role in upcoming smartphones. It is, however, a little surprising Xiaomi would acquire this path. In the meantime, many designs are questionably a copy of Apple blatantly; it has taken immense conceit in marking out the pioneering design of the Mi MIX series. At its inaugurating events, both in China and India, the company also talked about how it evaded the notch on its smartphone with decisions like an ultrasonic proximity sensor, the ‘hidden sound guided speaker’ and not to forget, the front facing camera which is located on the bottom lip of the smart phone.
