Google Pixel 2 Review | Pricing, Specifications and Release Date

The wait is over, we have been waiting to hear from the Giant competitor of Apple, Google. At last, Google has officially announced about its Pixel flagship phone and it has sent official invitations to its event, that would be happening in San Francisco on October 4, 2017.

Just after the launch of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the most awaited iPhone X, Google is all set to launch its Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, exactly after a year they launched Pixel and Pixel XL. Though there is no official announcement about the number of phone launching according to some reliable sources, Google will reveal two phones - one smaller (Pixel 2) and the bigger (Pixel 2 XL).

Google has launched the teaser about its upcoming phone covering several questions about Battery, Storage, Blurry Photos, Assistance, Speed, Heating Conditions and etc. Google has mocked several competitors through this teaser asking funny questions and by its users about their phones.

Google Pixel 2: All you want to know

First of all, Google is splitting the manufacturing of both the phones, According to the resources, LG is going to take care of Pixel 2 XL (bigger version) and HTC is going to take care of Pixel 2 (small version). The main difference between these phones would not only the Sizes, but there would be several differences in features as well. Both the phones are expected a dual tone glass and metal finish similar to last year released Pixel and Pixel XL. There would be a minor change in the design this time, the front will be covered by glass and back would same as metal finish and fingerprint scan would be on the back side only. It is expected to provide 4 GB RAM and 64/128 GB Storage and 3000 or more mAh battery. Pixel 2 will have a 4.97-inch screen with old Snapdragon 835 SoC and Pixel 2 XL will have a 5.99-inch screen with new “Snapdragon 836” SoC.

Rumors are that Google is not going with the current trend of Dual Camera but it will have Dual LED flashlight and Electronic Image Stabilisation for low light Images. The design is expected to be the same as its previous Phones. But this time they might remove a 3.5mm audio jack port as Google has shown about its bigger speakers, to compensate this removal, Google is expected to reveal its wireless earphones that would be powered by Google Assistance. Another great thing coming to Pixel 2 is, the user would be given unlimited Could Space for photos for the lifetime.

Talking about the screen, we are expecting full HD Display (1920x1080p) with AOD feature. The second series would also have “Active Edge” similar to HTC’s key feature. It offers users advance touch features like Short Squeeze, Squeeze and Hold based on the pressure applied to the side of the screen. It is also expected that it will trigger several actions like Google assistance, Camera Launch, and other features based on the pressure applied and area or location on the frame.

Finally, the last best smartphone we were waiting is about to launch and obviously it will have Android Oreo (how could we forget about it). We don't know yet anything about the pricing but we are expecting somewhat similar pricing to iPhone X.
