The new development in the cannabis industry substantiates the acceptance of cannabis-based products in Latin America. The latest move is coming from Khiron as it secures the approval for its three new CBD cosmetic products from INVIMA, Colombia's health agency.

INVIMA-approved products aim women’s skincare as they are a new addition in the existing line of seven skincare products. Kuida®, the first consumer brand of Khiron's cosmetic business, targets women, and the new addition will enrich that brand.

The patient-oriented approach is the leading feature of the firm, and it is the first INVIMA-approved branded CBD beauty product in Colombia.

Launched in 2018, Kuida got pretty good appreciation from customers and CBD wellness experts. It is now available all over Colombia through a huge network of retailers, wholesalers, and online platforms.

Besides the business stores, Khiron could promote wellness products through educational and experiential pop-up stores in major cities.

Within one year since the inception of Kuida, it made collaboration with Colombia's top distributors include Cafam, Fedco, Grupo Exito, and Farmatodo.

May 2019 witnessed its collaboration with Fedco, one of Colombia’s most established beauty retailers. According to the deal, Kuida products would be distributed in Fedco’s 22 locations in the country.

The new line of products will enrich the Khiron to expand to a greater level from the existing reach all over Colombia, CEO, and Director of Khiron Alvaro Torres.

The starting phase of Kuida was a huge success in establishing the brand, and the company's experimental programs educated consumers to add Kuida products as a premium brand for their skincare, he adds.

As part of the educational program, Khiron has participated in Cosmoprof Worldwide held in Italy. The recent collaboration with Colombian hospital Centro Dermatológico Federico Lleras Acosta (CDFLLA) marks a milestone in Khiron’s journey.

According to the partnership, it will conduct clinical skincare trials with CDFLLA. Moreover, that kind of partnership is new to Colombia.
