Huawei’s First 5G Phone is Launching in July

July 5th, 2019

Huawei’s much-awaited 5G phone, the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G, is coming to the market in July. In China, the company will launch its first 5G phone on July 26th, according to the reports. At the same time, VentureBeat reports that the phone will be available in the UAE on July 12th. The first entry will be in China, Italy, and the UAE. In the UAE, Etisalat and Huawei unveiled the new 5G phone.

“We began to develop the 5G technologies in 2009 and invested significant effort into developing 5G across our device, network, and chipset offerings. This allowed Huawei to amass a number of patents that are synergistic with its smartphones, facilitating rapid iterations towards better 5G experiences,” Country Manager for Huawei Consumer Business Group in the UAE David Wang said.

The release will not be in all Huawei market worldwide since the tension is still not at ease between China and the United States. The launch will not be held in the US market as of now since its presence in the USA Entity List.

Huawei 5G Mobile

When Huawei started planning the launch of 5G, foldable Mate X was the aim. But, its launch postponed to September. Consequently, Mate 20 X 5G is arriving in the market as its first 5G phone.

Even though major chips and network companies had broken the tie-up with Huawei in both America and Europe, some major companies have now appeared to make or continue the deal with the Chinese company.

Switzerland's Sunrise and Monaco’s Monaco Telecom, earlier, had stated that they would provide Huawei Mate 20 X 5G in the market. Some of the companies are staying tight-lipped on the issue. Vodafone’s uncertain ‘will carry the device soon” has now become certain that the British network giant is not ready to go with  Huawei. Last week the company omitter the question about Huawei.

Although Trump is going to ease the restrictions on Huawei, the future of Huawei in the United States is still clouded. It is yet to reveal what will happen to Huawei’s use of Android and ARM-based chipsets.
