Google’s Most Hyped Smartphone Pixel 4a To Possibly Launch Today

Google is all set to reveal most-anticipated devices, the Pixel 4a today, which is the sequel to 2019’s Pixel 3a. The smartphone will be globally made official during the online event of unveiling. Although Google has not launched its budget-friendly smartphone yet, it is reportedly going to cost $349, which also attracts a lot of interest in a Pixel 3a successor. 

If believe the hype, the standard Google Pixel 4a model is what everyone possible sees today as a 5G-enabled Pixel 4a with a bit superior specs and a little high price.

After the months of predictions and leaks, on Friday, Google has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming phone, Pixel 4a, by sharing a teaser on its social media channels. Its teaser says that Google will launch its awaited smartphone model on August 3rd. Even though its tagline has not revealed the name of the smartphone. However, nobody needs to think too hard about the phone. It is also clear what Google is hinting at.

During the Google I/O developers conference, Google was conjecture to announce the sequel to Pixel 3a, which got canceled due to the ongoing pandemic. After that conference, the smartphone was postponed to launch in June and then again push to July as well, but as Google would have it, the smartphone will now be revealed on 3rd August. 

The smartphone is being praised as a mid-ranger currently as that’s what the specifications and leaks have been hinting at so far. It is also speculated to be priced near around $349. However, Google has kept all the Pixel 4a specifications under wraps so far, stated tipster Ishan Agarwal has leaked quite a lot about the smartphone.

The giant has only given the information about the day of the unveiling of Google Pixel 4a however it has yet not given any details about the timings. 

Presently, there is not any official announcement about the pricing and the specifications of the Google Pixel 4a smartphone but as per the rumors, the phone would be priced $349 in the US. For India, its price will be under INR 30,000 or even less.

Coming to the specifications, the smartphone is expected to feature an OLED display of 5.81-inch with a 2340 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz of refresh rate. The Pixel 4a can be powered by a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Pixel 4a is reportedly to house a 3140mAH Battery with support for 18W USB Type-C fast charging. But as per the previously leaked information, the phone might not be inbuilt with the support for wireless charging. 

In terms of camera, the leaked information has unveiled that the Pixel 4a could feature a 12-megapixel rare camera along with an 8-megapixel front camera. Alongside this, the Pixel 4a also has a capacitive fingerprint scanner at the back instead of Face Unlock.
