Get vaccination to Say Hello to Nature Like Before
The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) announced that the fully vaccinated could be in plain air without wearing masks. Almost 30 million Americans have been fully vaccinated so far.
"If you're fully vaccinated and want to attend a small outdoor gathering with people who are vaccinated and unvaccinated, or dine at an outdoor restaurant with friends from multiple households, the science shows – if you're vaccinated – you can do so safely unmasked," CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said at a press briefing.
CDC has suggested the new guidelines for fully vaccinated Americans:
- Meet indoors with other fully vaccinated people without masks or social distancing.
- Meet indoors with unvaccinated people from a single household if they are at low risk for severe illness from the virus.
- Skip testing or quarantine when exposed to Covid-19 unless symptoms appear
And it also says that they should continue to:
- Avoid non-essential travel and large crowds.
- Continue to wear face coverings and maintain social distancing in public.
"We will continue to recommend this until widespread vaccination is achieved," Walensky said.
The CDC still suggests that vaccinated and unvaccinated people wear masks at indoor public places, such as restaurants, offices, and movie theatres.
The US has reported over 29 million virus cases and about 527,000 deaths.
The United States President Joe Biden, addressing the nation on Tuesday, said, "Beginning today, gathering with a group of friends in a park, going for a picnic, as long as you are vaccinated and outdoors you can do it without a mask."
The President targets to get the situation back to normal by July 4, American Independence Day.
