Demisto Secures $43 Million For Series C Financing

Demisto, which is based out of a Cupertino, CA-based developer of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technology, today in a report has announced that they have closed a $43m Series C funding. The round, which brought total funding to date to $69m, was led by some of the prominent investors like the Greylock Partners, with participation from Accel Partners, ClearSky Security, and others.

The company intends to use the funds for global go-to-market expansion, adoption, and deployment of its SOAR platform, and take SOAR beyond Security Operations Center (SOC) use cases.

The startup which is Led by CEO Slavik Markovich, Demisto provides a Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platform that combines orchestration, incident management and interactive investigation into a single experience. Demisto Enterprise, powered by its machine learning technology, acquires knowledge from the real-life analyst interactions and past investigations to help SOC teams with analyst assignment suggestions, playbook enhancements, and best next steps for investigations.

The company recently launched v4.0 of its product, expanding the platform into advanced threat hunting, cloud security and more. New features include an Investigation Canvas that improves security analysts’ visualization of attack campaigns, end-to-end automation of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud security processes and hundreds of other enhancements suggested by existing customers and partners.
