Last week, TikTok and its parent company ByteDance were in the headlines regarding the USA security scrutinization. TikTok hit back the claims of its Chinese government influence. However, TikTok is gaining more popularity by skyrocketing number of users. Besides, ByteDance had earlier announced its entry into the smartphone industry. Now it has unveiled its first smartphone, the Jianguo Pro 3 phone, aka Nut Pro 3 under the brand Smartisan.

Beijing based Smartisan develops operation systems and makes smartphones. ByteDance had acquired the phone maker last year, and prior to the acquisition, it produced a handful of smartphones. As Nut Pro 3 is ByteDance’s debut phone under the brand, it has striking features.

According to Pandaily, it will be available only in China, starting the price at $382. The budget-friendly phone is unique in different ways. One of the most striking features is its retro and vintage design. Even though it reminds Apple’s iPhone 5, the design team has brilliantly done the job. It is available in three colors: white, black, and green. The phone is encased in a solid glass cover, yet with an alluring slim profile. It has implemented several other impressive designs as well.

The phone is integrated with Smartisan’s latest operating system: Smartisan OS 7.0. Bang, One Step, Idea Pills, Smartisan TNT, are some of the signature features of the operating system.
