Avanan, an NYC based enterprise security provider for the SaaS-based email and collaboration platforms has now secured $25 million in the funding round of Series B.
The investors include the Magma Venture Partners, StageOne Ventures and Greenfield Partners. The company as of now has a plans to use the funds to accelerate its growth further.
The startup which is led by the Gil Friedrich. Avanan provides security solutions for the cloud-based email, messaging and collaboration. Deploying in just a few minutes, the company multi-vendor security solutions use the latest technologies to help companies secure the full office 365 suite, G suite, ShareFile, Slack, Box, and some other collaboration SaaS applications from the advanced threats such as the malware, data leakage, account takeover, phishing and shadow IT.
Just within the platforms, customers can purchase the predefined bundles which contain the latest security technologies from the Avanan and Avanan’s platform or selecting the exact vendors and technologies they actually want to use in each of the categories.
The company sells its solution under the Avanan label as well as with some of the white label OEMs with the leading IT security vendors.

With the help of directly connecting with the cloud platform, we not only deploy faster, but we also detect and block all the threats that proxies are unable to see due to their position outside the cloud. “It is a tool which scans after the default security but just before an email hit the inbox, some of the latest and newest our anti-phishing algorithm is designed specifically to find and block the attacks which also gets a miss from some of the famous platforms that is Microsoft and Google,” adds Avanan’s Co-founder and VP of Product Roy Rotem.
