Google purchases huge lands in Sunnyvale : Is it a sign of future expansion?

Is google planning for huge expansion? Well, may be yes.

Google has purchased huge lands close to worth $800 million in almost 13 different parts in Sunnyvale. The whole property might be planned as a future campus with huge working area, though the company has not yet disclosed anything on how and what the plan is after the purchase, it is going to be the next big thing for Google people.

Google, which is currently head quartered in California, has been dealing with real estate brokerage for quite sometime for a mass land grab. This new move of purchase comes just after a month of Google’s partner Trammell Crow has bought $100 million worth land parcel in San Jose.

It is evident with these two deals that Google is going to expand its base out from San Francisco to San Jose and eventually to spread across Sunny Vale. With over 72,000 employees currently staffed at Google, it is a must for the company to look an expansion. The strategy might still be close to the competitors like Facebook and Apple but with wider base of employees spread across the Bay Area
